Who we are
Moore JVB LLP is an independent member firm of Moore Global Network Limited, an international Network of firms with over 600 offices in over 110 countries which a range of services including accounting, auditing, tax reporting and operations, tax advisory, and business consulting.
This sole proprietorship has grown largely due to mergers and strong organic growth in its key markets in the years 2001 to date and is now finalizing on a company structure to introduce new partners to enable it to achieve its overall goals of providing professional, efficient and timely services, whilst upholding highest level of integrity.

Our history
1994: Registered the firm to practice as a Certified Public Accountants (Kenya)
1994: Opened our branch in Mombasa
2003: Registered by Kenya Revenue Authority to certify VAT claims under the new VAT Act rules
2004: Acquired V. A. Patel & Co., Certified Public Accountants with over 200 clients with diverse activities
2006: Quality peer review by the Institute of Certified Public Accountants Kenya (ICPAK)
2009: Second quality peer review by Institute of Certified Public Accountants Kenya (ICPAK)
2011: Third quality peer review by Institute of Certified Public Accountants Kenya (ICPAK)
2012: Opened our Uganda office in Kampala – Moore JVB LLP
2013: Acquired Waghela Associates., Certified Public Accountants with over 100 clients in diverse activities.
2017: Became a full member firm of Moore Stephens International which is currently Moore Global Network Limited, a global accounting and advisory family of over 30,000 people across more than 260 independent firms and 112 countries
2021: Merged with Kothari and Company, a midsized firm with over 100 clients and 10 staff from a diverse range of industries
2024: Opened our Tanzania office in Dar-Es-Salaam – Moore JVB Tanzania
